How to Order
The NMR LipoProfile test — The Particle Test — provides the number of LDL particles (LDL-P). This simple blood test is a management tool that provides actionable results. Knowing your patient's LDL-P, along with their LDL cholesterol (LDL-C), gives you a more complete picture to manage their heart health.
THERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS TO ORDER THE NMR LIPOPROFILE TEST:
1. The NMR LipoProfile test — The Particle Test — is available through LabCorp (test code 884247) and other laboratory service providers.
2. Contact your local laboratory service provider.
3. If your laboratory service provider does not offer the NMR LipoProfile test — The Particle Test — you may order it directly from LipoScience. Please contact our Client Services department toll-free at (877) 547-6837 to get started.
4. This test can be billed to LDL-P/NMR specific CPT Code 83704.
